Demand planners have to deal with an unprecedented amount of change which puts traditional forecasting methods, that rely heavily on historical data, under pressure. Garvis has, through a collaboration with the University of Antwerp, developed a bionic planning tool that combines artificial intelligence with the personal insights and experiences of the planner and with real-time data analysis. This allows planners to make better and more reliable forecasts, and to respond more quickly to fluctuations in demand.
